Beta Reins
Beta reins are made of the same material as our Beta bridles, and buckle onto the bridle at the ends of the crossover straps. They are a split rein with the option to tie them together with a small rawhide string. Beta reins are 5/8” wide and 54” long. Available in black, brown, and chestnut brown. Although we only display 1 rein, the price is for a PAIR of reins.

Black Brown Chestnut
The beta material is very strong and does not break as easily as leather. The reason we add the rawhide tie is to give the reins a breaking point in case a horse would accidentally step through the reins. Although we display only one rein, they are sold in sets of 2. The price listed is for a set of reins.
Beta reins are also available with a rubber grip at the hand. These are beta reins with a nubbly rubber coating which gives a very agressive grip:

If you are looking for a strong grip without the agressive 'grab' of the rubber-gripped reins, you can get the Super Grip Beta Reins. These reins are made of a new 'grippy' beta material. They are a good choice if you want the grip of the rubber grip reins without the nubbly rubber coating. The flat super grip reins come in black, brown and chestnut and are 3/4" wide.

Or, if you prefer wider reins, you can get plain beta reins in a one-inch width:
