Prevention of Accidents to Riders Caused by Tack [2009]

A number of studies have been published on the cause of riding accidents.  These have mostly focused on factors other than the horse, for example, the nature of the track surface in racing and the design of jumps in eventing … what might be called the extrinsic equipment of horse sport.
